You are a netrunner inside a megacorp's network. Hostile programs crawl toward your core, each one tagged with a word. Type the word to delete the program. Chain clean keystrokes, steal exploits, take side contracts, and see how deep you get.

A hardware keyboard works best. During a run, tap the grid to bring up your on-screen keyboard.
Type the word on a program to delete it. Your first letter locks on to the nearest match; finish the word to fire.
Release your lock to switch targets. Letters you already typed stay typed.
Run ROOT ACCESS when the meter is full. For a few seconds, one keystroke deletes any program.
Run a stored exploit. Steal them by typing the white packets that drift across the grid.
Only matters inside sysop phrases. Stray spaces between words are ignored.
Pause. The game also pauses when you switch away.
Every 22 correct keystrokes in a row raise your score multiplier, up to ×8. A typo or a hit resets it.
Typos and time raise trace. At 100% the corp sends a hunter-killer that hits for 2.
Programs that reach your core cost integrity. At zero you flatline.
Each layer posts a side job. Fulfil it for DATA, bonus score and a wider mod draft.
After every layer, install one mod. Mods stack and last until the run ends.
Every fifth layer, a sysop guards the way down. Type its phrases, spaces included, before the purge bar fills.
From layer 3, the network fights back mid-layer: blackouts, glitch storms, lag spikes, swarms, data surges.
Earned when a run ends. Spend it on permanent cyberdeck upgrades. The daily breach runs on a stock deck.
